i have been trying to start a blog for a while. why haven't i been able to do it yet you ask, because i absolutely could not find a background i like. i'm still not sold but, it will do for now.
so why blog? other than the fact that everyone does it and i'm a big fan of conformity, i love to journal write and this is like a journal, but for everyone to read. not better, cause when it's your real journal you can write whatever you want, but not worse, because this allows us to connect with people and people to connect with us. it's just going to be an exciting new way of writing about my life.
so here are the fact. matt and i have been married for just over a year, it was a year on 7.18. we have living in south carolina during all of that time and really really love it. matt is in his second year of grad school and i am, well, currently, i am a nanny with a bachelors of music in music education degree. not ideal but, like the background, it will do for now.
we live pretty typical lives. we both work a lot but when we're home we like to watch movies (love netflix), play games (current obsession: skip-bo), and play with our babies (two 8 week old shih tzus). we play words with friends a bit too much, but it's so fun! we love our church and our ward family is amazing. we miss our families, mine lives all over and matt's lives in kentucky, but we really enjoy living here now.
this is just the beginning. so much more to come! i am excited about figuring all of this out and getting way too into it.
