i am SO behind on posting. holy moly. oh well. blame it on the fact that everything i want to post about requires me to download pictures from my camera and since i don't really have a personal computer right now, that's a difficult task.
anyway, here is something very current! like 2 hours ago current.
there are a billion teacher pregnant at my school right now (no i think just 6 but still, that's quite a lot!)
well for 3 of us it's our first baby so they threw a baby shower for all of us today during break (we have a schoolwide 20minute break everyday- oh private school...)
it was so sweet and thoughtful. they had cake with our names on it and congrats (a chocolate and white one) and punch and salty treats. and they got us all a gift! 2 outfits, socks, a book, a toy, and a sweet cross for each of us. there was me having a boy in july, a girl having a girl due in 11 days (and her baby bump is smaller than mine...) and a man who's wife is due in june with ??, they didn't find out. since he was the only one without a baby bump, he came in late and had a volleyball under his shirt. it was really funny.
this has been the best place to work. all of the faculty and staff here are so nice and happy! i never hear teachers complaining about, well, anything that has to do with their job, which is nothing like other schools i have worked in. i will really miss these people when i leave, even though i have only been here a little while (since the beginning of november). i am very blessed to have worked in such a great environment!
